Yannick Granieri at RedBull Rampage 2010. Hardcore mountain biking from the French Dakine rider! Bonus footage of other Dakine team riders Darren Berrecloth and Thomas Vanderhamm.
It reminded me of an early 90's motocross video. I can only picture in my head the guy editing it together is wearing a soul patch and a flex-fit hat pulled over his ears. Although the riding was awesome, it was just hard to see it having to look past all of the overdone special effects.
Did they even show Yannick riding, or just standing about in various places? I agree, very annoying edit. As if the riding there is not impressive enough, they have to try to stylize it to make it more exciting or something.
HINT: Doesn't need it! especially when said stylization impairs the viewer's ability to even recognize what is happening in the video. Those riders are badass enough, they don't your cute little video edit help
Hi guys ! Just to let you know how hard (impossible) it was to film there ! RedBull prohibited everything... Sorry if the editing hurts some of you, we tried to do our best with a punchy mix of photos and action ! I hope you'll enjoy way better next one !
I remember the first ever rampage. It's crazy how much the sport has evolved since the early 2000's. The days of just big drops with no style are long gone. Thank god
Goldman and Yannick were the only riders who voluntarily ran single crowns, the rest broke their dual crowns and had to run them. Kelly would never do rampage on single crowns hahaha
I know Sorge was hurt earlier for Whis crankworks he ended up judging with Mcaul. He runs his Faith in those events, So do you know if he was on the Glory 2nd gen for this years Rampage? What about Kellys shredded arm i guess thats the reality of ridin'.Now he seems pretty happy with Corsair Things will go good for him soon ,he is a croud pleaser. What happened to Hopkins, Pilgrim, and lame that Kinrade got hurt.
I'm not sure what frame he was on. Kelly was fine, got 7 stitches I think it was to fix it up. Pilgrim wasn't invited? And Hopkins broke his fork on the canyon gap in finals run 2.
